What surprises me most about working in Denmark is

In Denmark, the workplace environment is very friendly and warm. Eating lunch together, get a breakfast together on Fridays and many other social events are important parts of the daily office life.

They like to joke about everything, humor is an important part of their day. They are always helpful and supportive.
They really like teamwork, it is important for them that everyone can contribute to the common goal.

Life in Denmark is

Relaxed. People have time for their private life, and that's important. You feel secure here.

I would recommend anybody moving to Denmark to

Research and prepare. There are a lot of information available on the internet about Denmark, so you can find information about everything before you come.
One of the most useful information that I found through Workindenmark.dk was the financial assistance for EU citizens to cover some parts of the relocation costs, called TMS.
They helped me a lot with this, from sharing information to application and transfer. It was a huge support in the relocation.

You can also enroll in one of the official free language courses, even though most of the people speaks English, your efforts to learn the language will be greatly appreciated by Danes and integration could be faster.
