Tips and tricks for the search function on the EURES Portal

Under "Occupations", you can click on job titles that match your recruitment needs. Select the job title that best matches the position you wish to fill. You can add multiple job titles at once.

In the "Skills" box, you can search for the skills your future employee should possess.

If you have trouble finding a suitable job title or relevant skills in the system, you can find all job titles and skills that the portal is built on via the link below.

You can also enter a search term in "All fields" if it is more relevant to your search. For example, you can use terms like C++, ASP, .Net, Microsoft SQL, or similar if you are searching for IT specialists.

In the left column, you can refine your search with the "Location" criterion, which indicates the candidates' preferences regarding the countries they wish to work in. Note, however, that this choice limits the number of candidates retrieved, as it will exclude those who have not specified which countries they want to work in.

The EURES Job Portal does not allow searching by nationality. Therefore, search for desired language skills under "Skills" instead.

If you only wish to read CVs in, for example, English or German, remember to select the preferred language under "CV Language".
