It can be difficult to find out what you need to be aware of when hiring an international employee, which rules apply to you as employer and which applications and registrations do the employee need to complete to be eligible to work in Denmark.

To make the process easier the Danish Business Authority and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has collaborated on a step-by-step digital guide for employers who need to hire a foreign employee.

It is a two-way guide. It both provides assistance for you in hiring an international employee as well as it provides the help you need to guide your foreign employee through the necessary applications and registrations so that you both comply with the rules.
