EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) Sweden for employers

EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) Sweden makes it easier to recruit in EU

To take part in TMS Sweden, employers with recruitment needs must first contact a EURES Adviser to receive recruitment mobility services such as:

  • Help to publish vacancies on the EURES portal and other job portals.
  • Help to find competent workforce through matching of suitable candidates from an EU country, Norway, or Iceland.
  • Information and advice on what to think about before employing from an EU country, Norway, or Iceland.
  • Information about TMS Sweden and its conditions.

Contact information for EURES Advisers from all EU/EEA countries can be found on the EURES portal via this link: Search for EURES Advisers (europa.eu)

The financial support is a contribution towards the costs for an integration programme which can include:

  • A package of training components to ease newly recruited worker(s) integration in the company. It can be either external or in-company training/coaching.
  • Language training to improve command of host country language.
  • Administrative and settlement support to facilitate integration of newly recruited worker(s) in the new country.

Level of training/learning components can vary from basic to comprehensive depending on whether combined with administrative support and settlement facilitation or not, according to needs and practices of the SMEs.

The financial support is a flat rate per recruited worker varying according to type of integration programme (basic or comprehensive) and depending on the country where the company is located. The financial support varies from EUR 810-2 000 per recruited worker.

Please note:

  • EURES TMS Sweden has project-specific upper limits in terms of both funding amount per company and number of recruited workers per company.
  • Employers receiving TMS funding are committed to the values of fair mobility and transparency. No profit may be generated through the funding of an integration programme.
  • Please note there is no legal entitlement to funding. Applications can be rejected if the eligibility criteria are not met.

The actual application form must be sent to TMS Sweden well in advance, latest one day before the start of employment. Any supplementary documents may be sent afterwards but should be sent as soon as possible.

See instructions and checklist in the application form on the website TMS Sweden

Please note that your new employee may also apply for interview and relocation support.
