It is important to be aware that international employees have rights as well. Do they need a contract of employment and what should it include? Is there a statutory minimum wage you must comply with? What rules are there concerning safety and health? You can find the answers in our brochure about rights and rules. It may also be a good idea to hand out the brochure to your international employees.

Rights and rules for posted employees
If you as an employer acquire posted employees (employees posted in Denmark by their European employer), there are special rules to be aware of.
The Danish Work Environment Authority, Arbejdstilsynet, is the leading authority within this field. At their website, workplacedenmark.dk, you can read more about the rights concerning safety, health, and working conditions for posted workers in Denmark.
