Again this year, Workindenmark will participate in the great job fair in Valencia. Along with Workindenmark, Danish companies Novo Nordisk and Femern Link Contractors (FLC) will participate with their own stand, where you can meet their recruiters and get to know more about their job possibilities.

Novo Nordisk:

Just besides the Workindenmark-stand, you will find Novo Nordisk at stand #20

Novo Nordisk Manufacturing Kalundborg has more than 50 years of expertise in large-scale biotech manufacturing. Their 4,500 employees produce half of the world’s insulin, GLP-1, and several biopharmaceutical products, reaching more than 40 million people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases.

From 2022-2029 They will invest 60 billion DKK (around 450 billion EUR) to expand existing facilities at their manufacturing hub in Kalundborg, Denmark, for the current and future portfolio within serious chronic diseases. This will establish additional capacity across the entire global value chain from manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to packaging, with the vast majority being invested in API capacity. With the investment, more than 1200 new jobs will be created.

FLC:

Just across from Workindenmark’s stand, you will find FLC at stand #34.

This comprehensive construction project involves the creation of the world’s longest immersed tunnel, spanning 18 kilometres to connect Rødbyhavn in Denmark to the island of Fehmarn in Germany.

Beyond the immersed tunnel itself, the Fehmarnbelt connection also includes onshore facilities on both the Danish and German sides.

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
